agroecology in africa

The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) is a broad alliance of different civil society actors that are part of the struggle for food sovereignty and agroecology in Africa. I created an animation in both French and English as part of their campaign on agroecology, using a combination of digital and stop motion animation. The hand-cut paper images give an organic feel, mirroring the organic nature of sustainable farming that is conveyed in the film. I was later requested to make another animation for their campaign on seeds and the crucial role that seeds play in creating vibrant agricultural communities.
